I was going to be stuck in Toronto tomorrow, however my company cancelled that meeting as they need me working instead of stuck in a car for 4+ hours fancy that. I will be there maybe a little late but there nonetheless.

I am hoping to be there, but I won't be able to head down until my wife gets home from work, sometime around 9:45.  Hopefully you guys are still there, I didn't look at the date correctly and ate poutine all alone last week. :)

You and Mike both seem to have this problem with looking at dates! But yes, I imagine we'll still be there. The reason we picked Thursday at Whistlestop is that it's one of the nights they're open much later (24 hours, I think). They're not open very late on Mondays.

I received an e-mail notification early in the week that said 'Next Thursday', I didn't look at the actual date. :)

The notification you received actually didn't say Next Thursday. It was entitled "Next PLUG MUG on Thursday next week at Whistlestop Cafe" and had a link to here (which you were supposed to read). Does "next week" mean the same week to some people? I'm genuinely asking.

I do understand the confusion over just saying next Thursday which some people assume to mean the very next Thursday and others assume next week but I thought saying "Thursday next week" was clear.

I guess for now on I need to stop saying "next" anything then you guys will have to look at a calendar. )

Due to the weather advisory, the MUG tonight has been canceled. We'll try again next week.

Glad you posted this. I would not have been happy going and sitting there myself.

No problem. I hope anybody else that was attending but hadn't posted sees it as well. I messaged Brian (cod3poet) and Scott separately and already talked to Bob.

Got the message thank you, I did not have to scramble away from the Potluck we were at and came home to more work.

For what it's worth, I'd be happy to attend Plug Mugs at the Whistlestop.  Often I don't have time to grab dinner before one of these, and here I could grab some noms.

Parking is easy on Charlotte too.
