The PLUG meeting scheduled for tonight has been CANCELLED with apologies for the inconvenience.
Jason has been fighting water in the ear this weekend and it's particularly bad today. For anybody that doesn't see this message until after arriving at Applewood, proceed to the Tim Horton's at Monaghan & Lansdowne.
Arch, Windows, Ubuntu, MacOS. In that order. (Definitely 04/2023)
Ryzen9 5950x/128gb/2tbNVME/8TB(Current)Win11
8th gen i7/32gb/1tbNVME(Current)Arch
Macbook Pro 16/2021 m1/32gb(Current)Work
Comptia CNSP / Azure Devops Eng Expert / VMware Certified/ Sec Automation Engineer / Senior SRE

Jason

I can certainly do my presentation that I missed. I'll solicit information from the members to find out what you already covered so it won't be a repetition of what you did. That's if there is interested. If there isn't, I can probably figure out something else like my experiences with Fedora Workstation.

I will be away for this meeting and I'm very interested in 2fa. So my vote would be for you to present Fedora Workstation (which I already know about) at this meeting and do 2fa at the next or a future meeting.
Ubuntu 23.10 on 2019 5k iMac
Ubuntu 22.04 on Dell XPS 13

Jason

We could use some more comments if anybody else cared to.

Has anyone ever done a presentation on setting up something like openvpn and then adding whatever has to be added to it to use it?
Growing up from childhood and becoming an adult is highly overrated.

I don't think so but it would be a very short presentation. Does using a VPN interest you, Buster?

"Cheap" is relative but I think it's pretty easy. I can add it to whatever presentation I end up doing. Was hoping to get at least another comment on whether to do Fedora or 2FA and Password Managers.

Good chance I wont be at the meeting. Marilyn is not feeling well and I should be with her.

I hope she feels better and you will be missed, Buster!

Fedora Workstation and OpenVPN as it relates to use with a paid VPN service would interest me.  If the driving weather is good, I expect to be coming with Tom Molica, to the meeting.

PLUG meeting, tonight is cancelled.  See the first message in this Topic, by Brian.

I don't know Brian's posting for today, is not showing up as the latest message to be posted, to this Topic.

That was my mistake. I edited his original message (it wasn't a new message). I created a new topic message too so hopefully it's more obvious.
