I have been using the Kodoo (Telus) cell service for a few years now.
I have a prepaid monthly service of $20 (includes taxes) per month which gives me unlimited Canada calling and unlimited Internationally texting and 500 MB of 4G Data, per month.

My cousin just told me he got a much better 1 year prepaid plan at the Rogers(Chatr) store at the mall.

So I went to the Kodoo store at the mall and found out that I could get a 360 day prepaid cell service plan for $149 plus tax.
The prepaid plan is unlimited calling and texting and 30 GB Data (4G speed) per 360 days.

That is a much better plan than the $20 a month plan that I was paying.

Freedom used to have a similar plan for $100/year, but that was over six years ago when I last checked. No idea what it costs now. They didn't offer free data at the time.

For that price, I might switch my wife's monthly plan to the one you found. It's $25/month for her present plan.

Look also at the Rogers/Chatr 1 yr prepaid. Go to the store in the mall instead of going online.
You may get the new SIM for no cost. My cousin did not get charged for the SIM.

I had to pay $13 for my new SIM card at the Kodoo/Telus store and my prepaid plan is for 360 days, while Rogers is 1 yr/365 days.

I personally prefer not to deal with Rogers because it seems a lot have people have issues with them.

I have found the Telus/Kodoo service to be good for myself.

Thanks for the advice. I'm with Koodo, and I'm very happy with them. My wife is with Lucky.

What minutes/data does your wife gets with the Lucky provider? I assume it is a monthly plan?
