Hi guys!  I bought the above item and it appears to work very well.  Extremely thin and light weight.  I haven't burned a dvd, with it yet, but it plays movie dvd's under Linux Mint, very well.
This price is only until Tuesday, so if anyone is considering a portable usb dvd burner, I would recommend this unit.  It sure is handy to have when you have an ultra notebook computer.
