Change of plans I will not be attending tonight, I have a sick family to take care of. My wife and son are down for the count.

Oh, geez. Sorry to hear that and I hope it passes quickly.

Since nobody else has said they're coming, I won't be going either.

I would LIKE to come to a Tuesday night meeting at Retro's but because I have to travel from Toronto, there is an expenditure of time and money involved. When I see only 2 people have signed up and at least one is likely to be gone by 9...That is why I didn't sign up.

Jason

We can't guarantee who is going to come and who is going to tell us though the regulars usually say when they're coming and often, when they're not.

Tuesdays might not be a good night after all since we are going to lose Mike (although he's away this week) then. Perhaps another night, Brian?

Or perhaps we just leave members to arrange with each other when they'd like to get together (via messages on here) and post here to let us know when/where so others can join in. Maybe ultimately that may be a better way to do it.

Perfectly understandable, Paul.

Once our June PLUG meeting is held and we take a break for the summer, then I will probably attend more Mugs because it will give me an excuse to take my motorcycle for a ride, into Peterborough. :-)

There were some Non-members that showed up last night, Another Fox, and Dan. One runs a hosting company and Dan works with the Blender foundation on their server infrastructure both terminally nerdy folks.

While we are on the topic of Meetings, I would like to make a suggestion:

Perhaps it might be an idea to ensure that announcements about both the General meetings and MUG meetings are posted in a timely manner, i.e., a couple of weeks in advance for a General meeting and a few days in advance for a MUG. This allows people to make plans.

For example, while the April General meeting is only a few days away, there has been no Official announcement of it either on the Home page or here in the Forums...
