Anybody have a spare dehumidifier or air conditioner we can borrow?

Our dehumidifier died sometime over the last year. I never thought it worked very well but omg, with the humidity right now, I can see that it did. Unfortunately, we can't get a replacement (or an air conditioner) until July. Does anybody have a spare one they could lend for three weeks? Or an air conditioner?

Jason, do you know what has failed on your de-humidifier?  Maybe we could repair whatever component has broken?

I haven't the slightest, Bill. When I turn the dial, I hear the click sound it usually makes before it turns on but it doesn't. Or at least the motor for the fan doesn't (it doesn't make any noise). I never checked to see if the (condenser?), the coils on the back got cold or not. If you want to take it and take a look at it, you're welcome to. As soon as I have some money, I'll give you something for checking it out. However, it's probably 20 years old now so I think it just got its number called.

OK, maybe I can drop by Tuesday, if you are not tied up with something else, and I can just take it outside, to have a look at it and maybe crack it open, to check it out.

Another friend is giving us a spare dehumidifier and coming by tomorrow night or Wednesday. So we won't have to fix this one after all. But thanks so much for the offer, Bill!
