Saw this video linked from the Qubes main page. It's an episode of the New Screensavers show on Youtube. It should take you right to the place to see the segment on Qubes, but it's about 33 minutes in and about half an hour long. In the show, they talk to Andrew David Wong, the Community Manager for the Qubes OS. In case you don't get the domains aspect yet, it's another way of figuring it out. Wong also talks about why the GUI lives in Dom0, the Admin VM.
