Extremely short notice, but is anyone interested in meeting, this evening,  at the Tim Hortons on Monaghan  rd.  for  a  get together?

There may be seating available inside, otherwise we would just meet in the adjacent parking lot.  Bring a chair, just in case.  I would probably be there at 7:30 pm.

I'll try and be there but I can't promise it as today's really busy for me. Monday is normally my errands day. Were you going to be coming to Peterborough for a motorcycle ride anyway?

I would come if we got together; at least for an hour. But I might not be there until 8.

Ok Mike,  I will be riding my motorcycle, so hopefully there will be seating inside, available.

Better to sit outside. Bring a lawn chair.

Unless everyone is wearing masks, I won't go inside. And you can't really drink with a mask on. :)

Mask is in my pocket, but I don't particularly want to sit inside.

Sitting/standing outside is fine with me.  May not be able to logon to Tims hotspot with a computer/tablet, if we are located too far from the store.

Sorry I couldn't be there. I was at the barbecue at about 7:45.
Growing up from childhood and becoming an adult is highly overrated.

Did it still work? When I've been waiting at the bus stop, I could still see it but not sure how many bars it was.

Hopefully next week you can make the get together, Buster.
There was Mike, Brian and myself and Mike and I were at Tims at 7:30 pm and it was after 9 pm when we left.  It was actually cold outside.  Mike had a jacket on and I think he may have still been cold.  I left my motorcycle pants and coat on so, I was ok.
Surprisingly, there was no indoor seating allowed.  We were able to go inside the Tims to get our coffee and donut , but had to sit outside .  We sat near Monaghan rd and the traffic noise and loud motorcycle noise was very annoying, so we will have to move further away from Monaghan rd for our next get together.

I didn't get a chance to try the Tims hotspot from outside of the building. I will have to check that out at the next get together.

I'm guessing that Tim's can't make enough at half capacity (patrons have to be physically-distanced) to justify the cost or they just haven't figured out the rules yet. I don't think head office decides what franchises do and nobody is obligated to open. And now with the mask policy on August 1, they'll have to enforce that, too.
