PLUG Mug video chat, Thursday June 25, 7:30 PM

Bill raised the prospect of running a Mug chat Thursday evening. If this actually happens, I would like to register my interest in participating in said chat. If this meeting proceeds, could you have Jason notify all the "minions" of the link to the event. It would be nice if we all could be informed if there is no interest in having this chat. Thanks

Yes Hugh, Jason should be posting soon, that he will host a Thursday PLUG Mug video group chat. I expect he will be using the Jitsi video chat program, to avoid the 40 minute time limit that Zoom uses.

Yep, I'll be hosting a meeting tomorrow starting at 7:30 pm on Jitsi.

I sent out invites through Google calendar but I have this sneaking suspicion that it only invited those on Gmail or that only those on Gmail can respond to it. Did you get an invite, Hugh? If you didn't, then probably non-Gmail members didn't, either. If that's the case, I'll have to send out a new email with a new link.

I'll post the link to the meeting here at least 30 minutes before the meeting, and via the PLUG list if the invite system above didn't work.

Just to be clear, you do NOT need to register or accept the invitation. You should just go to the link at or after 7:30 pm. If, for some reason, the meeting doesn't set up properly at the link, I should know in advance and will post a new link here and email it to everyone.

We just concluded our meeting for tonight.

Sorry to anyone that was trying to get in the meeting and couldn't. It didn't prompt me when someone was waiting tonight so I didn't know. In the future, I'll be sure to check the participants window to see if anyone is in the waiting room or see if there is an option so that everyone can go in directly. If somebody came in that shouldn't have, I can just kick them.
