I just wanted to post a reminder of the Zoom video chat, for this evening. Jason will be emailing out the url login details shortly before 7:30 pm.  Feel free to drop in anytime after 7:30pm.

If anyone new or did not get the email Jason sent out about this video chat and wants to join the chat, just post your request here and I can send you a personal message in the Forums, with the login details about 15 minutes before the video chat.

That was nice seeing and talking with the group, last evening.
The conversation at one point, sort of dwelled on what was happening in Peterborough and I think Glen and Hugh may have been a bit bored with the conversation.  We maybe can try to avoid that happening for the next video chat. :-)

I tried bringing them in a few times but yeah, sometimes it's hard to do that depending on the subject.

I enjoyed it, too. But the zoom limit is really annoying. Maybe we should pass around the hat and get the pro version. It's $20/month and if I understand it correctly, the host with the pro account isn't limited in how long the meetings go. I don't think everyone has to get the $20/month account for it to work. But we are limited to a 24 hour long meeting in case we want to do a telethon. ;-)

I think Glen is the only one who had trouble with the Jitsi video chat.  He couldn't get his video to show.  I think we should be able to find him a used usb webcam, that he could plug into his computer and that should fix his problem.   I could take a motorcycle ride to his house in Oshawa and drop one off for him. :-)

We can pass the hat and get him a new one. :)

In keeping with our prejudices, open source is probably best. Or should I say our idealism. Jitsi forever.
