China built 2 hospitals in 2 weeks

Cool. Be interesting to see how long they last.

Not that hospitals should take as long as they need to get built in the west. Prefabs may be the way to go, but at this stage, I liken it to the hospitals you saw in MASH but more solid. I have a tough time believing anything that is built-in 2 weeks will last for a long time but for this crisis, it's certainly good enough.

Now if they could just make stopping the spreading of disease as efficiently as they built things, they wouldn't need these buildings. But I suppose that is one of the problems of a crowded population with people so closely in contact with one another.
