Title: Linux Mint 19.2 upgrade
Post by: fox on August 06, 2019, 10:32:44 AM
I just upgraded my Linux Mint cinnamon 19.1 to 19.2 using the system upgrade option. It took about 15 minutes on my iMac, and everything seems to be running well. But I continue to have an unexplained sound problem. My internal iMac speakers are recognized and work fine on system sounds or youtube, but I get no sound in rhythmbox or any music player I try! The problem isn't Mint-specific; I get the same in Ubuntu. At any rate, 19.2 update works.

I think you're spending to much time with bugs, beavers and bats Dr Mike, and not concentrating on the important stuff.

Listening to Aretha after my flawless upgrade to 19.2. It's all in how you use the mouse.

Just for interest, moved my Mint hard drive into another box - new to it cpu, motherboard, and whatever. Same video card and monitor. It acted as if it had lived there for its entire life! Not a blink. Thought it might have to do something, but apparently not.
