This comes to us because I'm a member of the editorial board. Linux Journal will provide a special introductory subscription rate to all of my fellow PLUG members, and anyone else who sees this posting: $24.50 for a one-year subscription, $10 off their regular rate. (Note that LJ is in digital format.) The offer is good until August 31 of this year. If interested, the link to get the offer is here (https://pubservice.com/Subnew2page.aspx?PC=LJ&pk=M8ALUGS). If you want more information about the journal, the link is here (https://www.linuxjournal.com/).
Thanks, Mike. That's a really good deal when you think about it at about $2 an issue even at USD which I believe it is.
Just clicked on the link now and when you click for Outside US, it defaults to the regular cost of $34.50. Is the LUG deal only for those in the US?
I sent the journal an inquiry, and they indicated that this was a coding error. Until it's fixed, they provided this (https://pubservice.com/LJ/?PC=LJ&FC=CANADA&SA=W&PK=M8ALUGS) link. I tried it and it works, at least for Canada.
The original link works now, but only if you use the "out of USA" at the top of the window. They missed the bottom out of country link. I pointed that out to them and they're planning to fix that too.
Thanks, Mike! Looks like the bottom link is fixed now, too.
