Bill and I collected a gathering of 5 customers in the coffee shop who found out Bill and I were talking about keeping old computers alive with Linux. And that was a Thursday afternoon. Great chat, and one bought doughnuts for us all!

I think the previous PLUG Mugs may have been on a Monday afternoon.
Seems like a good day of the week. People may be busy on the weekends with other activities, especially in the summertime.

If you mean when PLUG had in-person meetings, too, they were on Monday evenings after the regular meeting. Not sure about PLUG MUGs since the pandemic.
I'm open to regular in-person meetings again, but I need to find a place to hold them. I'm not sure we'd have enough members to cover the rate at Applewood and web hosting, since I'd rather include it in the membership fee. It would work if we had a $35 annual rate, perhaps, but we'd need 10 members to sign up. Way back when, Glenn, I think it was Glenn, mentioned some free meeting places for community groups. If anyone knows of anything, I'm all ears.
It could also be 4-5 meetings a year instead of the usual 10, since we don't have a lot of presenters, and I don't distro-hop anymore, so not sure what I could offer or who would want to listen to me half the meetings.
