Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, to everyone!
The daylight hours are getting longer, now. :-)

It's great to hear from you, Scott! We'll have to plan something soon. As Bill says, the days are getting longer. That means we're through the worst of it, right, Bill? ;)

I haven't seen a winter like this in decades. It reminds me of when I was a kid. I can't say I appreciate it as much (or at all)!

Unseasonably warm weather, William; just like almost everywhere in Ontario.

"Unseasonably warm weather, William"

And that means no skiing on the wilderness trails.

And, as most know, but not all do, the sun climbs a bit higher in the sky each day, and so provides more brightness and heat, though the air temp wont change for a few months.

Saw my grass turning green. May have to get the lawnmower out.

You jinxed us now, Buster.  We will probably now get a big dump of snow. :-)

You're right again Bill. We've had heavy snow at times today. Have already done some shovelling.
