Title: annoying streaming video buffering, Cub Linux
Post by: ssfc72 on September 28, 2016, 12:02:49 PM
So, I use the video streaming site, putlocker.is   booting from a usb flash drive with Cub Linux, with persistence file storage.

For the first few weeks, the video streaming seemed to work without much buffering.
The last few days, the buffering has become so bad/annoying that the website is not worth going to.
I suspect this website is a bit doggy, so maybe it has dropped some software on the persistant usb flash drive, that is hogging the notebook resources?

I went and booted OpenMandriva from a bootable usb flash drive. There is no option to have a persistence file on the flah drive, with OpenMandriva.

I went to putlocker.is and viewed the same streaming video and there was no video buffering at all, with OpenMandriva.

Looks like I will be using OpenMandriva, on a usb flash drive, from now on, when I visit this web site.
