Until I read this article (http://hamwaves.com/same_pc.new_hd/en/index.html), I wasn't aware that you could clone your drive and/or partitions with gparted. The article provides a step by step method for doing this, including the installation of grub on the new drive. Worth a read even if your tool of choice is clonezilla.
