Title: Linux article - Ray Saitz, Peterborough Examiner, Thursday, June 23, 2016
Post by: bobf on June 24, 2016, 04:20:34 PM
I thought everyone would like to know - we're famous! <^8#

This week's article by Ray Saitz, "Linux is a secure, viable Windows replacement" does a nice job of touching on Linux, the many distros, and types of install - or not, i.e. boot from live CD/USB.

And at the end, a plug for PLUG!!

"... If you want more information or would like to delve into Linux more then you may want to join the Peterborough Linux User Group, PLUG, (http://plugintolinux.ca/) or attend a meeting."

Thanks, Ray!

Thanks for the heads up. He's mentioned us before. The plug is always nice; I hope it leads to a few people checking us out.

Would scanning and posting a JPEG of the article constitute "fair use"? I could do that...

I wouldn't chance it without permission. What you could do is post the link to the article if the Examiner put it online, as they do with many of their articles.
