The good news is that the website is back up. The bad news is that we have lost forum posts made since April 27, 2020. It'd be easy to blame the host but it was my fault. Much to my chagrin, I accidentally deleted our virtual server. It was late at night and I was trying to delete my personal server which is administered by the same interface. I obviously didn't pay enough attention.

Only by luck did I happen to have a snapshot of the server made on April 27. Losing your posts for the last month is likely frustrating to you. It's frustrating to me and embarrassing as well. My apologies for the lost effort that went into your topics and replies.

Going forward I'm going to take steps to make sure this doesn't happen again. Perhaps two sets of backups of the server or at least a secondary backup of the files. Even though we're a small user group, I try to administer the website in a professional-like manner.

Stay safe,

Jason Wallwork

It certainly does. With me, it's too often a shit storm.  :(

Thanks! I wish more people participated but I'm glad you appreciate the forum and I'm glad you and a handful of others participate. You guys keep this place alive. I'm always learning something. I learn from mistakes like these though I wish the price of tuition wasn't so high.
