The wooden bridges that were burned down in the forest fire are almost rebuilt. Should be able to attend. Usual date and place?
Yep, December 5th at Applewood. We don't have a topic yet. I'm trying to think of something but if anybody has something, please post here :)
How about LVM, Jason, since you knew enough about it to advise me? Or more broadly, on advantages of different formats available for Linux distros. If you did that, I could do a short piece on upgrading Fedora and new features of Fedora 25. Other topics I would be interested in but can't present myself: BSD, home server software options, rasberry pi use as a home server, anything on programming languages (especially python), anything on security, Arch Linux.
I don't really understand LVM that well. Just the basics. But I'll read up on it and see if I can become knowledgeable enough.
Usually, we have pizza at the December meeting. Does anybody want to try something different? Fried chicken, Chinese food, etc?
Pizza is a treat for me; I don't get it too often. But I'm OK with whatever the majority wants.
Pizza would be good for me!
I vote for food that has maximum weight per dollar. Because that would be my dinner . :)
We'll just go with pizza then. :)

As a favour to our general meeting, Distrowatch also did a review of Fedora today.

Probably won't make this months meeting.
I have had a scratchy throat, for the past week and don't think I will feel up to drive in from Lindsay, tonight.
Bill
Hope you feel better soon, Bill!
