Got around to watching this. Good show. I remember reading a lot of this when I was younger about the steps in making a chip but there were still interesting segments about how chips are helping people with smartphones even in developing nations. There are these shipping containers containing all the necessary electronics that provide wireless access to even remote communities. The segment was about a farmer who used to have to take his maize to market only to not be able to find a buyer and it would spoil unsold. Now he can take a picture of the crop and find a buyer before even loading it.
