Title: PLUG Mug video group chat, Wed. Oct. 7, 7:30 pm??
Post by: ssfc72 on October 03, 2020, 05:30:21 AM
Hi everyone. I am going to try for a Jitsi video group chat for this Wed. evening.
While I would start the video chat at 7:30 pm, feel free to join in at 8 pm, if that is better suited for you.

I will need to know if at least 2 other people are interested, by 4 pm Wed,, otherwise I will cancel the chat.
If the video chat is a go, I expect it will probably continue until about 9 pm.

I will email the video chat login Link info, at around 7:15 pm Wed.

regards

Has anyone else said if they're coming? Was thinking/hoping that Fox might be coming.

Okay, that's good. I was looking forward to it and it'd be a shame if it was cancelled.

We had a nice video chat, last evening. There was Hugh, Kal, Jason, Brian S, Glen and myself.  It was 9:30 pm when I signed off.
Kal wore his spooky St Patricks day hat, in the spirit of Halloween. :-)
Brian checked in on the chat from his cell phone, in his car. He even had some dark video feed with his connection.
Jason did a run through of the Linux Lite Distro, by sharing his desktop screen. Looks like a very nice Distro, I think I will install it on my older Acer notebook computer.
