Similar to Bill's presentation of the 1090 software, this is a airplane tracker built on the Raspberry Pi that connects to your smartphone. It costs significantly more though but it has two receivers so you get the smaller planes, too. And you can carry it around with you since it's a Raspberry Pi.

Very neat! I will tune my SDR dongle to that other frequency and see if there are any planes using that frequency in our airspace.
That other frequency may be using another protocol for transmitting its data, so Dump 1090 may not work for it.
I will have to look into this. :-)
