Post by: fox on December 07, 2016, 07:04:13 AM
This one is for William; a $90 touchscreen kit for his favourite board (http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2016/12/odroid-c-series-touchscreen-kit).

It's hard to beat $74 commodity PC:

Or $70 embedded board

I missed this one when William posted it. Raspberry pi from Microsoft? I presume one can buy this and use it for Linux instead of Windows? Is this a better deal than the kits offered in those Toronto electronics stores (can't remember their names)? I still have one coming to me as a birthday present I have yet to cash in.

The Microsoft store is providing free shipping for the Rasp Pi and Case and SD card.
The other vendors may be cheaper, but when you add on their cost of shipping, then the Microsoft store is about the same overall cost..
