Before you jump to conclusions, read the headline carefully. It might not say what you think it does. It's also amusing. The point of contention is over whether or not ChromeOS is Linux. I'd say, yes, yes it is. If you count both, Linux has 7% of the desktop OS market. Pretty cool, huh?

I read the article, and I can see their point. I would see it more strongly if one could separate ChromeOS Flex from regular ChromeOS.

What do you mean? In my mind, they're both Linux, although obviously, the licensing terms are more restrictive with ChromeOS. I believe they're both based on ChromiumOS. ChromeOS Flex doesn't have the ability to run Android applications (nor do old versions of ChromeOS).
