For the electronics/Arduino enthusiasts , this is a very interesting project. It is a 2 MP camera on a tiny board that will display a video feed ( just like a web cam), to your computer or cell phone on your local wifi.
The camera board also has wifi and Bluetooth built in.
You need to also purchase another small board, about $5, to program the camera board, using the arduino code, or if you had an Arduino board, you can use that for programming.

I think I will be giving this a try. The price of the components, is in my price range. :-)

Interesting. What do you plan on doing with it? Or is it just to learn with?
Doing this project would be mostly for the learning experience. I do have an arduino uno board and therefore I am somewhat familiar with the Arduino programming.
I would find it interesting to gain the experience of flashing the Arduino cam program to the ESP-CAM board, using the FTDI interface board.
Once I get the ESP-Cam working, I could use it as a surveillance camera or even as a back-up camera for the car. :-)
Sounds good. Should be fun to learn more about it.
