Well so much, for future Android security support for my 2 year old LG G7 One phone. :-(

I've been reading murmurs about this recently.  Apparently they tried to sell their mobile division.

Too bad, there's less choice now.

And I was under the impression that LG made really good Android phones.

That sucks. You've been stilling getting updates, though? A lot of manufacturers don't seem to care after a year. I was pleasantly surprised with my Motorola phone - been getting updates every few months right from the start, including an upgrade from Android 9 to 10.

I believe so but that doesn't mean they were profitable enough.

I love Motorola/Lenovo for phones.  The best deal out there in my opinion.  My Moto E6 is the best $149 I ever spent lol.

I had never had one until last year. They're incredible. What I really like is how it's pretty much stock Android, no amount of huge crap that you can't remove. They added two Motorola-related apps, one of which is very useful, Moto Actions. For those that don't know it lets you do all kind of things by moving the phone around various ways or moving your fingers. I one I use the most is the flashlight action means a cutting motion twice turns it off and on. Another one that's handy is simply turning the phone over to set it on 'Do Not Disturb' or picking it up to silence the ringer (doesn't stop the incoming call, just the sound). Maybe other phones have this or you can get the functionality through other apps but it's cool to have it out-of-the-box.

The other is just for feedback which I never use.

I have the Moto G Power. The battery, as the name suggests, is long-lasting. It's 5000 mAh. Even if I'm using it a lot, it will last several days. If I'm not using it a lot other than short phone calls, it'll last as long as feature phones, about a week or 10 days.

It's not even a mid-range phone but acts like one. I got it on a plan but if I had bought it outright, it's around $200. I'd definitely get a Motorola phone again.

My LG phone had a security update on Feb. of this year.  It has Android 10 version.
