Title: Home stretch of the campaign
Post by: Jason on October 02, 2018, 10:39:16 PM
Hey guys,

Down to the last three weeks in the municipal election and could use your help if you can. I have a gofundme here (https://www.gofundme.com/campaign-for-jason-wallwork) where you can donate via credit card. You can also donate via e-Transfer to jason@jasonwallwork.ca or send a cheque made out to Campaign for Jason Wallwork at the address on  my campaign website here (https://www.jasonwallwork.ca/donate/).

You don't need to be in Otonabee Ward or even Peterborough. You *do* need to be a resident of Ontario.

No amount is too small. And thank you!

Sorry to see that you were unable to secure a spot on Peterborough council, but I must congratulate you on trying!
I feel that considering the money that you had available to spend on your election attempt, that you did better than any of the other candidates!  Well done!

Bill

I am very surprised that a lot of the Councillors were re-elected.
I expected most of them were going to get thrown out, after the PUC utility fiasco!
I did expect the Mayor to get turfed, but not by the large percentage, that resulted.

Yes, I was surprised at that, too. Guess it turns out the PDI sale wasn't as big a deal as we thought although Dave Haacke went down who was for the sale as well as the mayor and one guy that voted for it, McWilliams didn't run again.
