I was at Staples and Best Buy today, and both seemed to have quite a few on sale; mostly high capacity. I just wanted another 16 gb for distro testing. I got a Kingston usb3 for $6.75 at Staples. Anyone looking for SSD deals? BB has deals on 250 & 500 gb SSD's; the former as cheap as $75; the latter as cheap as $129. Yesterday I bought a HP 27" IPS monitor (1080p) for $199 at BB; retails for $369. It sure helps my gettin-old eyes. (You wouldn't know anything about that, would you Harry?)

That HP monitor deal is no longer available at BB, but it is at Staples. It is on until Nov. 29, and while sold out online, they had it in the Peterborough store as of this morning. It gets very high recommendations from folks that bought it. The Staples description is here (http://www.staples.ca/en/HP-27er-T3M88AA-27-LCD-Display/product_2401058_2-CA_1_20001). Also, the Kingston USB 3 pen drive I bought comes in a 32 gb version on sale for $11.95, and Staples also has a 128 gb Lexar USB 3 model on sale for $29.95.
