Windows to support the Linux filesystem but there's a catch

Windows 10 will soon be able to read Linux filesystems, but only the distros installed in the WSL (Windows Subsystem for Linux). When I saw the headline, I thought I'd be able to access Linux files in Windows natively for dual or multi-boot installs with Linux. There are some add-on tools that let you do this.
