I stumbled across this movie on YouTube.  It is a very nicely done Christmas time movie, to watch. My wife liked it very much.

I'm thinking we should have a page devoted to Bill's movie picks :)  That's not a criticism - I think it's great that you mention good movies. I think we all sometimes want to watch something but aren't sure what's good.

I didn't know that one can find full feature movies to watch on YouTube.

Bill has been sharing links to them for awhile. You're not going to find recent movies on there (unless you pay for their premium service) but plenty of older movies that people have uploaded. Lots of older tv shows, too, some from the 80s. You should make a list for your retirement ;-)

Well looking at the number of views, to some of my movie suggestions, there are a lot of people reading the posts.
2 of my posts have over a hundred views. :-)

So I went to rarbg to get this movie, thinking because Bill lives in Lindsay, and Sir Sandford teaches about tree farming there, that Bill liked it because it was about lots of trees, but I was really surprised. Yes there are many, many trees, and very nice trees they were too, but there are people and great characters, and good guys and bad guys, and wonderful acting from the wee girl and the old man.

It's a delightful movie, and thanks for mentioning it Bill.

Bill. I especially liked the part where the huge forest-protecting fungus attacked and smothered the invading martians. That was truly awesome!

I found in my browsing the above 3 posts. The first one brought on a grin, but the next two both made me laugh. It's great to have some moments on the forum that aren't so dead serious. Do Linuxologists tend to laugh much? Maybe it depends on which distro you use. That could be it.
