Title: Getting files into NextCloud
Post by: fox on January 20, 2021, 05:07:04 PM
I have NextCloud running on my RPi 4, and I have a bunch of video, music and picture files (many in folders) into NextCloud. NextCloud allows you to add files, but this is one by one and while you can make folders in NextCloud, I don't see any way you can add whole folders. There has to be a better way, but I'm not sure what it is. My understanding is that if you copy the stuff directly into the place where NextCloud stores its files, the files and folders won't be seen when you access NextCloud remotely. Anyone know how to get a mass of files and folders into NextCloud efficiently?

I admit I know nothing about this platform, but, is there no way to perform a deep scan on folders to look for changes?

I had a similar issue on my Plex server, but found that if I force a Library Update it will look for new files that weren't added via the Plex client.
