Anyone know the topic? I think it's on Monday Oct 7.
Growing up from childhood and becoming an adult is highly overrated.

AFAIK, no topic but my offer to present how to login to Linux boxes over the local network and Internet still stands  if our president gives me the greenlight. It could cover how to do it graphically as well as terminal-based.

Hello Brian!  Please post on the main PLUG web page and Forums, if there is going to be an October PLUG meeting and if our meeting room has been confirmed.  Thanks!
I will not drive all the way in from Lindsay, unless I know the meeting and meeting room have been confirmed.

I'd also really like to know if I need to prepare a presentation. I like to work on it and not throw it together at the last minute.

Not that I have to, but I want to let everyone know that I won't be at the PLUG meeting (if there is one) tomorrow night. The English language Leaders' Debate is on at the same time and there's also a City Council meeting I'd like to attend, but it'll be one or the other.

Our President seems to be MIA so I don't know if this notice matters.

For anybody out of town, reading this, it's probably safer to assume there won't be a meeting unless you see something on the website before the evening. For those coming, here's a suggestion - if you ever go to a PLUG meeting and nobody shows up by 7:30 to present, I suggest going to the Tim Horton's at Monaghan @ Lansdowne and meeting up there. At least you can have coffee and chat. But I'll leave that up to Bill to suggest as a Plan B since I won't be there. When the debate is over, I'll swing by Tim Horton's (around 9 pm) and see if anybody is (still?) there.
