This is a lovely  video explaining what a Stirling engine is.  The presenter does an excellent job of making the topic fun and interesting to watch!  I think he must be a very good teacher. :-)

I had a girlfriend once who generated enough heat to run 3 or 4 Sterling engines.
Growing up from childhood and becoming an adult is highly overrated.
