Another good reason to use a VPN (if you download shows) is that studios are now taking the unusual step of filing lawsuits against file sharers:

Saw references to this on the business tv network Apparently it's a way for this company to make money. May be connected to the group that does the shady patent attacks. A win gives them $5000 if it's not defended. Most of us can't afford to defend.
