I was lucky enough to view the SpaceX launch of a satellite from the Vandenburg launch facility in California, last evening, in real time, on the SpaceX website.

The website gave an excellent detailed presentation showing 2 video views of the launch. One video camera view was from the spacecraft and the other view was from the launch site showing the launch and the return landing of the first stage booster.
Amazing technology! Amazing video!

Nice! I didn't hear about this one. You need to tell us in advance, Bill! :) I think I heard they are aiming for moon in 2022 or 2021?

I just by chance, saw on the internet, that the launch from California, was to occur in 15 minutes time, that evening.
I have seen a SpaceX launch before, but not from California, so I made sure I went to the SpaceX web site, to watch the launch.
