Subscribing to a service like Wired to read an article is like signing up for a full suite of Lamaze classes for an opportunity to have sex...

It's nice to see the world, and many of the apps, etc., in it, can be comfortable in their consummate arrogance...

I'd've loved to read the entire article. My point was that it insisted I register before being allowed to read the article. I decline...

I wondered why it did. Figured it was because it has a limit of free articles before requiring registration, because I didn't get any screen requiring registration. That's why I suggested clearing cookies related to the website.
