An Inspector Calls, 1982 TV Movie - very good

If you like action type movies, then you will not be interested in this one,  If you like intriguing movies, then this may be something you might like.

I started to watch it, but found the pace a bit slow and quit.  Then I went back to it a few days later and picked up where I left off.  The movie turned out to be very good.

The movie is apparently about an English upper Class family, who is paid a formal visit by an English police inspector.  The inspector is making inquires about a destitute young woman who committed suicide by drinking disinfectant. The time period seems to be around the 1950s - 1960s.  They had telephones, in the movie.

Unlike most of the time on the Internet, the comments on this are interesting. Looks like it was studied in an English Literature class and was originally a play.
