OK... I don't think it'll be necessary to move the PLUG solely for my benefit, though I appreciate the thought. I'm more inclined to move it for the overall benefit to the PLUG community, should there be a more accommodating night in general. It appears that my Amateur Radio course will run 7-9pm, which left me plenty of time last night to join the MUG in progress, and delighted I was to see the turnout!

The only major impact it's likely to have at this point is monthly meeting night, which conflicts with my course but not the after-gathering. Not my preference, but I think it's a manageable tradeoff. And I remember it being quite confusing having the meeting on one night of the week but the MUGs on a different one, which is why we've synchronized them.
