So many new scams are using AI now. Thanks for the heads up, Bill!

They have one that's a variation on the one where your grandson is in jail somewhere and they need to make bail. Before, it was just someone sounding official that did it. Now they can use the person's voice (assuming it's online somewhere) and use AI to make it sound like they're calling you. The best clue (for now) is the pause between saying something to it and waiting for a response. They also sound calm for someone in jail. But it won't be long before that pause is imperceptible and the AI can create emotive speech.
