An old post from Bill inspired me to re-create the topic which is a good thing to do whenever a topic is more than 30 days old. Creating new topics makes sure the material is noticed by new visitors to the Forum and is recent.

Anyway, I found this searchable listing for Linux-compatible printers at the website Open Printing which is a group under the Linux Foundation that works on printer support under Linux.
