So now that the stay at home order is no longer in effect, I am thinking maybe there might be an interest in meeting up again at the parking lot of the Tim Hortons on Monaghan rd.
We used to meetup, before the COVID problem and just have a general chat, for about an hour or so.

So if there is interest in starting a meetup again, now that we have nice summer evening,  post here and suggest what weekday evening would be good for you.

I'd be cool with that socially distanced, of course. But is there a better place to meet? I find it's really noisy there and with the distance, it's especially hard to hear. Do you think they'd mind if we met in the cemetery? :)

Good one Jason. :-)

We actually located are meetup over near the petstore.  It was not as noisy at that location.

I would be interested. Wednesday or Thursday evening would be best for me; definitely not Tuesday.

Ok, how about next Wed. at 8 pm?  The long range forecast shows clear weather, right now.

That sounds good. The Lansdowne Place parking lot near the top end where the construction is/was going on, is quiet, too, since the mall's not open (well, not very open). It's blocked off so there isn't even traffic going in and out there. I've sat on the little stairs among the trees there and read to get out of the heat when walking. If we ever need an alternative it's there until the mall opens fully, of course. Then it might be noisy.

No chance of snow flurries?

Looks like it may just be the three of us, showing up.
Maybe I could bring my pico projector and RPI 4 and we could watch the movie,  The Lady Killers (from 1955) . :-)

Sorry Bill but I'm not going to come if we're watching a movie, no matter how good. And Mike, I counted 4 people - the same 4 people who, along with Glen, actually keep the forum alive.

It was Bill that said three, not Mike. And four is better than zero, Mr. Half Empty. Personally, I'd feel uncomfortable with a larger group right now though I'd certainly wish more people would participate in the Forum.

I was just kidding about the showing of  a movie.  So it may be the 4 of us for Wed. ?
i was trying to entice some more people to join in on the meetup. :-)

Buster always takes us too seriously. ;-) What did he think we were going to project it on? Anyway, I'm looking forward to the meeting. It interests me more than the virtual meetings and it'd be nice to see you again, Fox.
