Growing up from childhood and becoming an adult is highly overrated.

Fairly favourable, but indicating you're better off with the Ubuntu editions.

On the download page for LMDE they mention that it's a base they can use if Ubuntu ever disappears. They also mention it's to make sure that their own packages are compatible with Debian.
