Antergos - anybody try this?

This distribution looks interesting. Has anybody tried it? Or knows anything about it?

I have never tried it, but I know something about it. Antergos is basically Arch with a user-friendly installer. It is a favourite of Chris Fisher on the Linux Action Show; I think that's what's on his laptop during the show. Last week, DistroWatch did a review of it; very favourable:

Jesse Smith tried it with ZFS, which didn't work well when the base operating system was installed on it, but he sorted that out by making a separate data partition and only using ZFS on it.

Last year I had Manjaro on my Acer for about six months. The two are similar in that both are rolling release distros based on Arch. However, Manjaro is more conservative in that they test new packages before releasing them as updates, and they release those that pass with a package of updates. I quite liked it until one update borked my startup; that might have been before they went to this package of tested updates model. I don't believe that Manjaro allows you to install it on ZFS; Antergos is one of the few that offers this option.

I remember your experience with Manjaro. I presented on it at one point, too. They certainly have a lovely website design. Might be something I might try in a virtual machine sometime. Thanks for your info.

Try Antergos instead; then you can present it to the Club :)

I meant Antergos. I already played with Manjaro.
